It's easy to get caught up in the excitement of exploring {aforeign land and forget about the most basic needs like food. This often leads to irritability, which can result in some less than charming behavior.

I've definitely learned this the hard way on a few. One moment I was beaming about tasting a local delicacy, and the next I was snapping at my travel companions because I hadn't eaten in hours. It's not exactly a behavior I'm proud of, but it just goes to show that even the most adventurous traveler can turn into a ravenous monster when they're hungry.

So, if you ever find yourself abroad and starting to feel grumpy, my advice is to seek out some food immediately. It might be the difference between having a memorable trip and one that ends with some regrettable moments.
